Q-Panel steel and aluminum substrates are supplied pre-cleaned, with a 1/4" (6 mm) hole. Our inventory of over a million panels means that 95% of our orders are shipped from stock.
The QUV is the world’s most widely used weathering tester. It provides the best simulation of short wave sunlight and outdoor moisture attack available for laboratory testing. All QUVs use ultraviolet lamps and feature a unique, hot condensation system. Water spray is available.
Available in flat array and rotating rack models, the Q-Sun reproduces the full spectrum of sunlight using xenon arc lamps and optical filters. Light stability and textile lightfastness testing are fast, easy and affordable with the Q-Sun.
Florida Weathering, Q-Lab Weathering Research Service
Q-Lab Florida is an internationally recognized benchmark location for outdoor weathering exposures. Florida subtropical weathering exposures are not only realistic, they are also accelerated. One year of Florida sunshine can equate to several years of weathering elsewhere. Weathering Research Service is A2LA accredited for ISO 17025.
Arizona Weathering, Q-Lab Weathering Research Service
Q-Lab Arizona provides internationally recognized benchmark outdoor weathering exposures. Arizona is much hotter and, compared to Flordia, receives about 20% more annual total solar energy (8004 MJ/m2) and total UV energy (334 MJ/m2). Weathering Research Service is A2LA accredited for ISO 17025.
Accelerated Lab Weathering, Q-Lab Weathering Research Service
Contract accelerated lab weathering and corrosion test services are available at Q-Lab Florida. When Q-Lab does your testing, the results have instant credibility with your customers and colleagues. All tests and evaluations are conducted in accordance to ASTM, ISO, BSI, DIN, JIS, SAE and other recognized organizations.
Q-Trac Natural Sunlight Concentrator, Q-Lab Weathering Research Service
The Q-Trac is an accelerated outdoor weathering test that uses a series of 10 mirrors to reclect and concetrate full spectrum sunlight onto specimens. This solar concentrating system maximizes the amount of sunlight exposure that test specimens receive.
The Q-Fog corrosion tester provides the best possible lab simulation of natural corrosion with a more realistic salt spray. Specimens are exposed to a series of different environments in a repetitive cycle that reproduces outdoor conditions.
Since 1965 the QCT Cleveland Condensation Tester has been recognized as the standard for condensation testing. It is useful for conducting fast, yet realistic blister tests using controlled warm condensation applied to the test surface.
Q-Lab Calibration Labs, located in the USA and UK, can calibrate radiometers for all weathering devices, as described in ASTM and ISO test methods. We are A2LA and UKAS accredited for ISO 17025.
