Q-Lab Corporation is pleased to announce that Mr. Harlan Reid has joined the company as Director of Operations for its global Testing Services Division. Q-Lab is a worldwide leader in accelerated weathering and corrosion equipment, contract testing, and outdoor exposure testing,
Based at their Q-Lab Florida facility, Harlan will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at Florida and Arizona’s sprawling outdoor exposure sites, which are amongst the largest in the world. He will also help manage Q-Lab’s accelerated test laboratories in Germany and Florida, which provide ISO 17025-accredited contract testing for weathering and corrosion. Finally, Harlan will be active in representing Q-Lab in a variety of standards-related activities and technical committees.

Prior to joining Q-Lab, Harlan was Director of Engineering and Technology at VPI Corporation, and was previously the Senior Analytical Chemist at Rust-Oleum, where he originally became familiar with Q-Lab’s outstanding test equipment and services. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Chemistry from Marshall University and an MBA from University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
