Key Responsibilities for our Technical Sales Representatives

  • Pursue sales leads received from industry ads, trade shows, internet web inquiries and other sources
  • Engage in proactive outbound selling efforts viathe telephone
  • Travel, when required, throughout the U.S. (and internationally, on occasion) to visit existing and new customers to educate, close sales, and build relationships
  • Must have the ability and desire to prospect for new customers, identify decision makers, and sell our products
  • Give technical presentations at seminars and symposiums.

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of industrial sales experience (preferably in capital equipment)

We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, you will be a key member of the MARCOM team and be responsible for providing assistance with marketing materials, maintaining customer information, promotions, and events for the marketing department.

The duties and responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following key areas::

  • Keep an inventory of company, product, and technical publications and materials
  • Update content library with current versions, translation status, and ongoing language needs
  • Enter and update data in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software including:
    • Name, address, company listings
    • Customer industry changes and updates
    • Customer activities
  • Gather analytics on web, advertising, and social media traffic and campaigns
  • Create lists, landing pages, and emails using Q-Lab’s marketing automation platforms

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 2-5 years career experience in a marketing or creative services team or organization
  • Understanding of page layout programs such as Adobe InDesign. Experience using InDesign is a plus
  • Ability to write and edit basic news releases and social media posts
  • Experience using the Microsoft office suite of applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Materials Testing Lab Technician (Homestead, Florida)

We operate a test laboratory that investigates the weathering durability of an extensive range of products and materials. The test specimens are positioned inside an accelerated weathering simulator to produces the same weathering deterioration as it normally takes many years outdoors to get. Our customers send their test specimens to Q-Lab for us to perform the accelerated exposure, perform measurements and evaluations and provide reports. This information helps our customers develop new and better products.

Key Responsibilities for our Accelerated Weathering Lab Technician

  • Process test specimens into the test laboratory
  • Unpack new tests and prepare initial documentation
  • Identify test specimens with unique marking
  • Create test documentation
  • Mount and expose the tests specimens into the test chamber
  • Maintain log sheets

Technical Unicorn: Talent Acquisition & Development Engineer (Westlake, Ohio)

Reporting to the President, this newly created position will lead Q-Lab’s worldwide hiring, onboarding, coaching and employee development efforts. This critical role combines both strategic planning and ‘hands – on’ leadership and requires a person who has an innate love for science, engineering and technology.  A degree in Engineering, Science, or Manufacturing/ Operations or demonstrated experience is required.
