We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing Manager, reporting to the VP of Marketing.

Your mission will be to manage our global digital marketing efforts to increase business results, using your excellent business sense, detail orientation, critical thinking, and technical skills.

Your responsibilities will be to lead the global team’s efforts in managing our:

  • online website and digital advertising activity, and entire budget
  • website updates and improvements through our content management system, direct programming (for simple changes), and our external website vendors (for complex changes)
  • email marketing efforts
  • literature/collateral revision process
  • translations for web, literature, etc. using both internal and external resources
  • marketing automation platform system, including helping to create content for landing pages, monitoring relevant metrics, setting up lead-scoring, etc.
  • planning and implementation process for webinars, seminars and other events
  • photography needs, including company events, image requests from customers, for our website and our electronics parts portal
  • social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+) efforts

Accounting Clerk - Westlake, Ohio USA

The areas of responsibility include: 

Accounts Payable

  • Perform a three-way matching function of purchase order, packing slip and invoice for accounts payable.
  • Identify vendor invoicing errors and/or internal discrepancies according to company policy and procedures.  Route errors and discrepancies back to the vendor and/or purchasing department.
  • Work with the company’s suppliers to resolve:  incorrect invoices, missing invoices and payment status on unpaid invoices.
  • Enter invoices into MAS90 software according to department policies and deadlines.
  • From the accounting side, act as a primary contact for assigned vendors.  This includes written and verbal correspondence with the company’s key business partners.
  • Maintain the supplier’s vendor record in MAS90.

 Accounts Receivable

  • Work with internal shipping departments on outgoing shipments.

Requirements for this position include:

  • High school diploma.

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our nimble, fast-paced, & effective team. At Q-Lab, Software Developers perform a wide range of duties. You will be involved in business analysis and requirements definition, software development, and project management. It’s common to lend your opinions to the CFO and VP of Marketing one day, only to be coding the solution in SQL and .NET the following day.

All developers report directly to the Global Information Manager to keep the reporting structure flat. We cross train our developers on all platforms, tools, languages, and systems. Our developers regularly comment on how exciting, fun, and challenging it is to be given such an unusually broad scope of work. Our ultimate goal is to apply technology in ways that increase revenue, decrease costs, and/or increase customer satisfaction.

Software Developer’s Scope of Responsibility:

  • Analyzes business problems and suggests ways of applying software solutions to solve them.
  • Produces software for web, database, and client server environments. Also produces Q-Lab’s firmware, which controls the brain of our weathering testers.
  • Uses Microsoft Visual Studio (Winforms, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, VB .NET, C#) to develop front-ends and business logic.
  • Uses Microsoft SQL Server to design, modify, and write business logic for databases.
  • Uses Crystal Reports and SSRS Reporting Services to develop reports.
  • Uses Attolic (an Eclipse variant) and C to develop firmware.
  • Follows Q-Lab’s standard development practices and techniques.
  • Works on front office (e.g. Sales, Repair, Marketing), back office (e.g. Accounting, Purchasing, Order Desk) and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) software.
