We are seeking an Assistant Controller at our global headquarters in Westlake, Ohio.  This position offers all of the interesting challenges and complexities of a multinational company but within a company still small and agile enough to be non-bureaucratic.    We are a privately held company.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         Generate timely and accurate consolidated financial statements that are GAAP compliant

·         Reporting of financial and operational metrics which includes incisive commentary

·         Maintain and develop product cost models

·         Manage accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and Disbursements

·         Manage accounts receivable to ensure accurate and timely issuance of customer invoicing, cash application, collections and credit terms

Requirements

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree in accounting

·         10+ years of progressive accounting experience

·         5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing business with multiple locations

·         Experience with foreign entity accounting is a plus

·         Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

We are looking for an exceptional mechanical engineer with 5+ years experience designing electro-mechanical products.  The individual will design both new products and improvements to existing products (e.g. improve performance, reliability, manufacturability).  A thorough understanding of electro-mechanical components and systems is required.

Key Responsibilities for our Technical Sales Representatives

  • Pursue sales leads received from industry ads, trade shows, internet web inquiries and other sources
  • Engage in proactive outbound selling efforts viathe telephone
  • Travel, when required, throughout the U.S. (and internationally, on occasion) to visit existing and new customers to educate, close sales, and build relationships
  • Must have the ability and desire to prospect for new customers, identify decision makers, and sell our products

Talent Acquisition Director (Westlake, Ohio)

Reporting to the President, this newly created position will lead Q-Lab’s worldwide hiring, onboarding, coaching and employee development efforts. This critical role combines both strategic planning and ‘hands – on’ leadership and requires a person who has an innate love for science, engineering and technology.  A degree in Engineering, Science, or Manufacturing/ Operations or demonstrated experience is required.  

 

Accountabilities include developing talent management systems, leadership training, recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, compensation analysis, employee retention, succession planning and developing employee satisfaction initiatives. This role requires a person who is comfortable performing tactical responsibilities -- ensuring that HR tools, training and resources are available to support every employee. Responsibilities include:

 

Responsible for all locations worldwide, including USA, England, Germany and China. 

 

Understand and identify the capabilities, skill sets and interests of Q-Lab’s human resources and use this data to determine staff development needs and staffing decisions.

Establish innovative sourcing strategies to attract top candidates including job posting optimization, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive annual recruitment campaign planning, and talent planning.                  

 

Provide leadership in the development and execution of recruitment strategies for all locations.

 

Manage contractual relationships with placement agencies, contract recruiters, job boards, job fairs and various internet job search websites.

 

Develop a comprehensive and meaningful on-boarding system.

 

Oversee compensation programs; analyze job tasks and work processes for new positions and reclassification of current roles; coordinate classification studies and conduct salary surveys.

Qualifications for this role:
