Brad Reis
President & Chief Operating Officer
Brad joined the Q-Lab team about 15 years ago, and is currently our President and Chief Operating Officer. Throughout his career spanning nearly 40 years, he has held various technical and business leadership roles in marketing, new product development, applications engineering, equipment design, and intellectual property. His broad experience stems from working at several leading technology companies, including General Electric, W. L. Gore & Associates, and GrafTech International, before joining the Q-Lab team.
He holds over 30 US patents and has authored many papers in the field of weathering, corrosion, EMI shielding, and thermal management.
From 2015 until the present, Brad has served as Chairman of ASTM’s Subcommittee D01.27, which focuses on accelerated testing for paints and coatings. He is also the active Chairman of G03.03 on weathering and durability of materials since 2019. He is twice a recipient of Awards of Appreciation for his leadership on these committees.
Brad graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and cum laude with a master’s degree in technical management, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
