Repair Support Coordinator (Saarbrucken, Germany)

You will have the opportunity to coordinate service and repair to a diverse customer base all over UK for an industry leader in weathering research products and services headquartered in the United States. You will be located in Saarbrücken in Germany.

For more than 50 years, Q-Lab has been a global leader in manufacturing material durability testing equipment. Our products and services are used to test coatings, plastics, automotive, personal care, roofing, inks, textiles, pharmaceutical, packaging and sealants.

Responsibilities include – but are not limited to:

  • Manages incoming phone and email inquiries from customers
  • Develops parts/repair visit quotes and maintains an accurate asset records database
  • Creates field calibration documents for technicians and reviews/approves completed paperwork according to Q-Lab’s Quality Management System
  • Manages all field repair visit activity in a highly organized manner
  • Oversees RMA receiving, credit processing and return shipments to other remote offices
  • Responsible repair visit invoicing, stock transfer request and oversee repair van inventory
  • Assist with coordinating Technical Training courses and managing training records

Desired Qualifications – Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree from 2-year College (preferred)
  • Two or more years of related experience in an administrative office environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (German and English)
  • Must be proficient in a variety of software based applications and databases
  • Highly proficient computer skills – Windows environment and Microsoft applications and relevant CRM systems
  • Customer-focused, with superb communication and conflict management skills; able to handle difficult situations diplomatically and remain cool under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to move from one activity to another with a sense of urgency
  • Superb organizational skills; highly detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Builds positive relationships with others
  • Ability to travel 10% to the United Kingdom and other international locations as needed
