Alan is a Technical Sales and Training Specialist for Q-Lab, serving the U.S. and Canadian markets. Alan joined Q-Lab’s North American Sales Team in 2007 and is based at the company’s headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. He travels throughout the U.S. and Canada teaching Q-Lab’s technical courses, focusing on the science of weathering and light stability testing. He also provides operator training for the QUV, Q-SUN, and Q-FOG product lines.
Alan is a native Ohioan who has over 14 years of experience in the coatings industry. He has worked for PPG Industries, Inc. and ICI Autocolor, where his roles have included inside sales and customer service positions. Alan also has significant experience in supply chain operations and has received numerous awards for delivering outstanding customer service, as well as other honors.
Alan is a member of ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) and is well-versed in SAE, ISO, and many other standards for weathering and testing of coatings, plastics, printing inks, textiles, and other materials. Alan’s previous experience in the coatings industry complements his technical expertise in Q-Lab’s weathering products and services.
