Currently the Managing Director of Q-Lab Deutschland, GmbH in Saarbrucken, Germany, Stefan is also a member of several DIN, ISO, DEK, and VDA weathering and standardization committees. Stefan is a member of the German DIN delegation to ISO TC139 on wood and construction material and is also active in many other technical societies and committees.

Stefan has 30 years management experience in all facets of business, including basic and applied research, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of analytical and material testing equipment. He has worked domestically and internationally for several public companies including Perkin-Elmer Corporation, Roland Berger Management Consultants, Xenotest GmbH, and NKT before joining Q-Lab.

Stefan holds a M.Sc. in Chemistry from Munich University in Germany, and a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from 2007 Nobel Prize Winner Gerhard Ertl.
